Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept, hold tight because it has 460 hp

We knew that Renault would present the update of its B-SUV at the Geneva Motor Show, the new Renault Captur. But what we did not know was the surprise he had to leave us all speechless. It’s called the Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept and will take away the idea that electric cars are boring. Do you think your power of 460 hp? Surely not.

Renault has taken a Zoe, as we have known recently, and has built a true racing car with a body color identical to that used by Formula e-Renault cars. Do not think that to achieve such power have integrated a motor Thermal because you will be wrong. The Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept is totally electric, although it has received a large number of improvements.

In addition to the 460 hp, this electric prototype delivers an instant torque of 640 Nm that many super sportspeople already wanted. That yes, instead of using an electric motor uses two, one on the front axle that sends its power to the front wheels and another in the rear that transmits it to the rear train; So we are dealing with an all- wheel drive electric.

The electric prototype presented by Renault in Geneva weighs 1,400 kilos, of which 450 kilos belong to the batteries; While the body has been made of carbon fiber. Both batteries have a storage capacity of 40 kWh. You will not get a lot of autonomy, but while it lasts the fun will be maximum.

The Renault ZOE e-Sport Concept has a lowered ground clearance, specific suspensions derived from the competition with four-way adjustable dampers and 20-inch wheels with tires on Measures 245/35. On the other hand, the electronic and four selectable driving modes allow managing the delivery of power that reaches each tire instantly.

Some of the benefits of this radical electric prototype are the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed limited to 210 km / h that can be reached in only 10 seconds. Piloting a car like this should be a unique experience.
